Dr Charlotte Canniff is a GP Partner in Surrey. Having qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1995 she went on to complete her postgraduate training in General Practice.

During her training she developed a special interest in Women's Health which continues in her day to day practice and also as the "Dear Doctor" for Reveal Magazine.

She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds the Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
She lives in Middlesex with her husband and young family.

She writes:

"As a female GP in a large suburban Practice the vast majority of my patients are women from child bearing age onwards. Women entering the menopause often receive conflicting and confusing advice about how best to control their symptoms and even about what symptoms are attributable to the menopause. The more tools available to women to find out the information they need the better. It is the reduction in oestrogen associated with the menopause that causes most of the common and disruptive symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and memory issues. I look forward to receiving your questions."
