Ymea conducted some research into the menopause in April 2006, to find out how the menopause affected women's lives, and how they dealt with the symptoms - both emotional and physical. We have included some of the findings below.
The menopause has a huge emotional impact

Nearly 9:10 respondents suffer one or more symptom. Hot flushes are the most common, followed by night sweats
